Monona Academy of Dance is dedicated to creating an atmosphere which fosters self-esteem, discipline, and positive influences, all of which can be carried into many other aspects of the student’s life.
The School of Madison Ballet opened its doors in the fall of 2005 and has since welcomed over 1000 dancers into its studios to experience the benefits of comprehensive, classical ballet training. Under the leadership of Artistic Director, W. Earle Smith, SMB focuses on providing students with a unique experience in a professional atmosphere that allows each student to develop to his or her highest possible level of individual achievement. Classes are available for dancers from birth to adults. Whether you dream of a career in dance, seek an outlet for personal growth, or just want to have fun, we have the class for you!
Our mission is to offer the highest quality dance training in a noncompetitive, positive and respectful environment for dancers ages 3 to adult – beginning through professional levels. Dedicated to the pursuit of artistry in dance, we strive to instill a passion for the art form by nurturing the technical, emotional and creative development of each student.
The Joffrey Academy of Dance, Official School of The Joffrey Ballet, is committed to providing students of all ages, levels and backgrounds who have a desire to dance with a world-class education built on a foundation of classical ballet. With the talents cultivated at the Joffrey Academy, students can pursue careers as professional dancers at companies throughout the world, higher education opportunities in dance, or success in other fields. Through the Joffrey Academy’s programs, students develop a diverse set of skills including artistry, creativity, discipline and confidence, among others. Dance Studio 3-D doesn’t create dancers, it reveals them. Stretch by stretch, leap by leap, the dancer emerges. The art form of dance can be the catalyst to setting your inner dancer free.
Studio 3-D’s objective in teaching is not only to impart the correct techniques in the art of dance, but also to have the students experience the enjoyment of learning with a feeling of self-satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment. Although some students may go on to seek a career in dance, Studio 3-D is less interested in molding professional dancers than in shaping disciplined, respectful, gracious and dedicated young people who also develop a love and appreciation for the art.
Studio 3-D is recognized for a positive educational environment, an active role in the community, and a contribution to the exposure to the arts for students and their families. The Studio also sponsors 3-D Family Theatre, to foster the inner performer in all.
