Since 1981 the school of Rockford Dance Company has been dedicated to providing the best possible dance education in a professional, friendly, and caring atmosphere.
Classes are offered year round for ages 3 to senior citizens. A variety of dance forms are offered for all levels of experience as well as dance related exercise classes. Our state of the art facility houses 5 studios with two way windows for parent observations. Our studios are located at the Rockford Park District’s Riverfront Museum Park on the 2nd floor.
Rebecca McCarthy School of Dance (RMSD) is a nationally renowned performing arts school featured on WGN and ABC. We are home to the award-winning McDance Company and provide recreational and professional dance training to children beginning at 20 months through adult. The Rebecca McCarthy School of Dance was established in 2003. We strive to create a learning environment that provides both recreational and professional training. Our goal is to train our dancers in a structured and fun atmosphere. Dancers that study under RMSD are provided with the background they will need to succeed in the performing arts. RMSD students gain the confidence needed to succeed in dance, musical theater, poms, cheerleading and other stage productions. Peoria Ballet is a non-profit company celebrating fifty years of providing the finest in dance performance and dance education to Central Illinois. Well known for its annual production of The Nutcracker, the performance features live orchestral music, professional guest artists dancing the roles of Sugar Plum Fairy and Cavalier, and more than 100 of the Academy’s own dancers. Each season also features a full-length theater production in the spring. The Peoria Ballet also collaborates with other arts and non-profit organizations in an effort to ensure the art of dance continues to be strong and vibrant in the community.
Kris Pickar founded KP School of Dance in Sauk City, WI in 2000. KP School of Dance is dedicated to providing an enthusiastic, nurturing, and professional environment for students of all ages. Students are given caring, personalized attention to support their development as dancers. We provide opportunities for all ages and interests by offering a variety of dance styles. From technical movement to the simple joy of self-expression, our students learn to appreciate all aspects of dance. We emphasize technique, quality, and performance in a welcoming atmosphere to prepare students for college-level dance.
Donna Jeanne’ Professional School of Dance is one of the best Milwaukee Dance Studios and it features training for pre-school, grade school, teenage, and adult students. Her classes provide exercise, performance, teaching and choreography in the contemporary style of Modern Jazz (Street/Hip Hop/Contemporary Fusion), Swing, Mid-Eastern, Ballet, Tap, Acrobatic, Ballroom (consisting of Rumba, Salsa, Mambo, Tango, Waltz, Polka, Foxtrot, and Swing), Wedding Couples, Bollywood, Belly Dancing, Country and Line. North Shore School of Dance (NSSD) is a professional school with 5 studios in one location. We offer graded classes in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, modern and hip-hop. We also offer open classes in Adult Ballet and Modern, Bollywood, and Boys Hip Hop. NSSD boasts a highly qualified professional faculty, along with guest artists from major well-respected dance companies. These faculty members make it possible for the school to offer an extensive program from pre-school to professional.

Founded in 1985, Northwest Ballet Academy Ltd. provides quality ballet training for children, teens and adults throughout the northwestern suburbs of Chicago. Along with ballet, we offer jazz, modern, character and Pilates training. We have a passion for all genres of dance, but it is our belief that ballet is the foundation of all other forms. That is why we teach proper ballet technique, coupled with a disciplined approach that includes personal correction; live, piano accompaniment; and instruction in ballet vocabulary, history and variations from the classical repertoire.
The art of dance can be so many things… A voice, friend, challenger, teacher, pulse, crutch, flying machine, parachute, canvas, diary, compass, a home… It is an art requiring self-discipline, dedication, determination and practice. It is an art requiring passion and love. Move Out Loud was created out of the belief that dance can and should be all of these things. It’s our passion to show our students how. At Move Out Loud, we strive to unite mind, body and heart learning in all that we do, providing creative, positive, top notch instruction while helping our students build confidence, self-esteem and a love for the art of movement.
We are very proud of the program we’ve created. Monona Academy of Dance is dedicated to creating an atmosphere which fosters self-esteem, discipline, and positive influences, all of which can be carried into many other aspects of the student’s life.
