Li Chiao-Ping Dance creates and presents concerts of contemporary postmodern dance, featuring highly physical, elegant and inventive works. LCPD was founded in 1990 and had its first concert in Madison in 1995. It is a resident company of the Overture Center for the Arts and works hard to spread the benefits of dance.
Reflecting and supporting the artistic vision of choreographer Li Chiao-Ping, Li Chiao-Ping Dance produces and presents original performance works, provides mentorship, education and training, offers opportunities for residencies and collaborations, and promotes tolerance and respect.
Academy of Dance Arts is a school devoted to the professional training of students in the art of dance.ADA continuously strives to maintain the professional standards set by its founder Roberta Rehberg-Boorse, who opened the Academy in 1983. The Academy employs a diversified group of professional teachers who are fully qualified to provide expert training in a variety of dance styles. ADA offers classes in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Pointe, Modern, and Irish. Our mission is to provide high-quality dance training in a positive atmosphere for any student who enjoys studying the art of dance.

Brookfield Center for the Arts, formerly Brookfield Dance Academy, has been a part of the community for 12 years. Donna Jeanne’ Professional School of Dance is one of the best Milwaukee Dance Studios and it features training for pre-school, grade school, teenage, and adult students. Her classes provide exercise, performance, teaching and choreography in the contemporary style of Modern Jazz (Street/Hip Hop/Contemporary Fusion), Swing, Mid-Eastern, Ballet, Tap, Acrobatic, Ballroom (consisting of Rumba, Salsa, Mambo, Tango, Waltz, Polka, Foxtrot, and Swing), Wedding Couples, Bollywood, Belly Dancing, Country and Line. For 25 years, Studio One Dance Theatre (SODT) has leaped across the bounds of formal dance education in Chicago, providing technical dance training in an environment that nurtures and supports each student. FootWorks Dance Studio teaches a Modern Dance curriculum inspired by African American Masters such as Katherine Dunham, Alvin Ailey and Jewell McLaurin. Our students enjoy a fun, family atmosphere and receive personal attention. Our choreography and costuming is always mindful of the youthfulness of our dancers. We are dedicated to provide students fundamental and advanced dance skills that remain true to our art.
Directed by original Hubbard Street dancer Claire Bataille and led by a faculty of experienced performers, choreographers, and musicians, the Lou Conte Dance Studio (LCDS) at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago offers weekly classes of all levels in ballet, jazz, modern, tap, hip hop, African, African drums, musical theater, yoga, Pilates, and Zumba, as well as workshops and master classes.
