Indiana Ballet Theatre, known as IBT, is a 501c3 non-for-profit organization. IBT has remained intently focused on a very simple mission for the past 36 years. IBT is dedicated to transforming lives and enriching the community through the world of dance. We do this through performance, outreach and the finest classical dance education. We accomplish our goals through multi-faceted programs with our many community partners such as the Girl Scouts, Boys and Girls Clubs, etc. IBT continues to utilize valuable resources of the region by performing full-length traditional ballets and original dance productions using local talent. Our goal is to keep the art of quality dance by preserving historical ballet stories while offering and entertaining, educational and affordable experience for area residents. We strongly believe that the arts are essential to a healthy society.

DanceCircus celebrates over 40 years of inspiring, challenging,and entertaining performances marked by artistry, clarity, elegance, and simplicity. Artistic Director Betty Salamun weaves together movement, words, and music to create dances of power and meaning for audiences of all ages. Working with award winning poets, musicians, and visual artists she creates interdisciplinary performances. These collaborative performances incorporate non-dancers, students, people in agencies and diverse performers connecting the creative process of DanceCircus with life and work in the community.
Brookfield Center for the Arts, formerly Brookfield Dance Academy, has been a part of the community for 12 years. We are thrilled to share our love for the arts in the areas of dance, music, theatre and education. We believe that nurturing a child’s creative potential stands at the core of preparing them for life. Creative activities are some of the building blocks of child development. So whether children grow to be choreographers or composers, or engineers and educators, encouraging your children to reach their greatest potential is our main goal. We are proud to serve the communities of Brookfield, Wauwatosa, New Berlin, Waukesha, Pewaukee, Menomonee Falls, Sussex and beyond.
Ballet 5:8 School of the Arts is the dance education arm of Ballet 5:8, a 501-(c)-3 nonprofit organization and professional performance company dedicated to creating and performing honest, relevant, breathtaking dance.
The school’s mission to make high quality dance training accessible to students of all ages, backgrounds and levels of ability, in an environment that nurtures students and allows them to thrive. Whether students take classes for a few years or many, study for fun, or train to pursue professional careers, it is our goal to be a positive influence in students’ lives that can help prepare them for whatever lies ahead.
With over 30 partners in residence and classes ranging from Afro-fusion, American Tap, Zumba, Bollywood, Modern, Ballet, Hip Hop and Salsa, the American Rhythm Center is one of the Chicago’s most diverse dance centers. Located on the third floor of the beautiful Fine Arts Building, the ARC offers classes seven days a week for students from 2 years old to 82 years young.
ARC offers discounts for students, seniors, professional dancers and veterans, making your dance training or experience not only excellent, but affordable. Look for additional special discounts throughout the year and our FREE-4-ALL events that offer free public classes for an entire week!
The ARC offers diverse, high-quality dance and wellness / fitness classes to the general public while centralizing the education programs, rehearsal space and administrative offices of several small and mid-sized dance companies, as well as emerging companies and independent artists.

Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, under the artistic leadership of Glenn Edgerton, celebrates its 39th season in 2016 and 2017. Among the world’s top contemporary dance companies and a global cultural ambassador, Hubbard Street demonstrates fluency in a wide range of techniques and forms, and deep comprehension of abstract artistry and emotional nuance. The company is critically acclaimed for its exuberant and innovative repertoire, featuring works by master American and international choreographers. Hubbard Street’s artists hail from four countries and 12 U.S. states, and comprise a superlative ensemble of virtuosity and versatility. Since its founding by Lou Conte in 1977, Hubbard Street has grown through the establishment of multiple platforms. Each is dedicated to the support and advancement of dance as an art form, as a practice, and as a method for generating and sustaining communities of all kinds.
