Liz Lerman Dance Exchange expands its offerings of week-long intensives this July at its studios in Takoma Park, MD and DC-area sites. The Dance Exchange presents three institutes with a choice of two tracks each to offer new movers, established dancers, choreographers, and video artists a wide range of movement experiences and performance opportunities. These unique experiences share the body of knowledge gained over the Dance Exchange’s 30-year history, including discoveries from such current projects as Ferocious Beauty: Genome, The Farthest Earth from Thee, and 613 Radical Acts of Prayer.

Children ages 4 - 18 are invited to take part in a performance alongside the Milwaukee Brewers Diamond Dancers at a select Milwaukee Brewer game. The Diamond Dancers will host 4 different one-day dance clinics at Elite Fitness & Racquet Club throughout the summer of 2008. At a cost of $50, your child will participate in a 3 hour dance clinic, will get a t-shirt and poms for the performance, and every child performing gets one free ticket for their own admission into Miller Park on the performance date. Parents will have an opportunity to purchase tickets at a discounted rate of $7.00 per ticket.
