About: I'm a dance instructor & dance studio owner. I've danced for 23 years, mainly jazz, tap, ballet, pointe, lyrical, hip-hop, modern, & musical theater. I like yoga & pilates as well. I absolutely love lyrical it's my favorite style. Then ballet is a close second followed by musical theater, then jazz, then tap, then hip-hop. I also enjoy art, music, theater, poetry, tennis, swimming, boating, jet skiing, being with friends, shopping, baking, & being with my husband, daughter, & dog. I love choreography & learning more about dance. Watching funny movies & Sex In the City reruns while sipping cocktails is nice. Going out dancing with girlfriends is also so much fun! Dance Resume: Bridget started her dance training at the age of four at Joyce Matthies Dance Centre located in Albert Lea MN. There she was a member of the dance ensemble for 5 years and a principal dancer for 3 years. She first started teaching and choreographing for Joyce's competitive junior jazz ensemble, solo's, duets, & hip-hop routines, which won several awards; such as, first place at a nationals. Bridget went on to study dance at the prestigious Point Park University in Pittsburgh PA. Focusing on ballet, jazz, & modern. Point Park University is one of the best dance schools in the nation training with top instructor such as; Doug Bentz, Judith Leifer, Ron Tassone, Marion Petrov, and several others. She began teaching at “Mirror Image Dance Academy” in West Bend Wisconsin, which is one of the largest studio‘s in the Midwest. Their she taught classes to children preschool through advanced. Bridget started her own dance school “Bridget’s Dance Conservatory” in the fall 2001. She currently instructs tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, pointe, musical theatre, and hip-hop classes to around 100 students. She choreographs around 80 dance routines per year, attends three competitions, produces a full-length Nutcracker, & spring recital. Bridget attends two workshops annually, constantly striving to improve and learn more. Some of the workshops she has attended in the past include; Radio City Music Hall Rockette Experience, Dance Olympus, Pittsburgh Ballet Theater master classes, Gus Giordano‘s Jazz Dance World Congress, The Pulse, with; Mia Michaels, Shane Sparks, Dave Scott, Brian Friedman, & Chris Judd. She has also studied one on one with ex-Larkin dancer Trump Card. Her platinum winning choreography is very cutting edge, creative, fun, & has won numerous high score awards & cash prizes. She has a combined 23 years of choreography, teaching, & dance experience. Friends:
