Euphoria Movement Arts is your source for belly dance instruction on Madison’s east side. We foster an inviting, nurturing and creative environment for dancers of all ages, shapes, sizes, and ability levels where everyone can grow, learn, inspire and be inspired.
During the Festival School Days, more than 15,000 Minnesota children see artists from around the world perform exquisite music, heartfelt dramas and heart-pounding movement inside the Ordway! Students can interact with artists while they eat lunch in the park, tour the ARTwalk or attend workshops!
Inside the Ordway, performing artists from around the world take to the stage for two full days of shows for only $5 per ticket! Also during the Family Weekend, downtown Saint Paul comes alive with family-friendly events! Between 10:00am and 5:00pm on June 4-5, the parks around the Ordway fill with free arts activities, art exhibits and performances! The Ordway proudly presents a vast array of performances on the Festival’s two outdoor stages – the World Stage and Landmark Stage – and in the surrounding parks…all for free!
Footworks offers something for everyone, from your first pre school class, to your graduation performance and beyond. With our award winning staff and new 9000+ square foot facility, Footworks is excited to offer 2 great programs to choose from (FDC Enrichment Dance and FDC Competitive Dance) in the Appleton, Heart of the Valley and Northeast Wisconsin area. FootWorks Dance Studio teaches a Modern Dance curriculum inspired by African American Masters such as Katherine Dunham, Alvin Ailey and Jewell McLaurin. Our students enjoy a fun, family atmosphere and receive personal attention. Our choreography and costuming is always mindful of the youthfulness of our dancers. For more than 50 years, Giordano Dance Chicago has brought the excitement of American jazz dance to audiences throughout the United States and in countries around the world — including Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, Russia, the Bahamas, Brazil, Turkey, Canada, Mexico, and Japan. GDC serves as host performing company at Jazz Dance World Congress, which has been held at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., at the University at Buffalo, in Japan, Germany, Mexico, Costa Rica, Phoenix, Point Park University in Pittsburgh, and Chicago.
Gus Giordano Founded Gus Giordano Dance in 1953. Gus' Jazz Dance legacy continues in his Chicago School at 5230 N Clark St. Train in all styles - Giordano Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Modern, Hip Hop, Contemporary. Gus Giordano Professional & Youth GUS Dancers perform throughout Chicagoland. Gus' legacy continues under the direction of his daughter, Amy Giordano.
