The Chicago Dance Connection was founded in 1992 offering young talented dancers from all over the country the opportunity to experience the finest teaching talent from Chicago and around the country. Today this mission is still going strong with our annual convention known as Jazz Camp. Our instructional conventions consist of classes throughout the day where dancers work to learn and improve technique. We also offer a Junior and Senior Competition where prizes are awarded.
The Chicago National Association of Dance Masters is a non-profit association whose purpose is to serve the continuing education and professional development needs of dance teachers. CNADM was originally founded in 1912 to build ties between dance instructors in Chicago, and the organization continues that legacy today with a membership that has broadened to include more than 300 professionals throughout North America.
In furthering its mission to serve the needs of dance teachers, CNADM provides extensive continuing education opportunities for our members and their students, as well as a specialized certification program to recognize excellence in dance instruction. Membership is open to qualified dance instructors.
The Cecchetti Council of America is an organization dedicated to maintaining the standards and method of ballet training established by Cav. Enrico Cecchetti. The organization uses his teaching and writings in a sequence of grades, carefully measured as to degree of difficulty and physical development, and provides a system of accredited examinations to test the student’s proficiency within those grades.
The CCA incorporated as a nonprofit educational association in 1951 and was the first organization in the United States to adapt a uniform system of teaching and examinations. Since that time, it has developed outstanding teachers as well as students who have danced professionally in ballet companies across the world.
The principal objective of the Cecchetti Council of America has always been to raise the quality of ballet teaching. This requires consistent attitudes of self-improvement and professional integrity on the part of each member teacher. The Council provides continuing educational opportunities through publications, refresher courses, and ballet conferences.
Interlochen was founded in 1928 and is located in beautiful northwest lower Michigan. Each year, thousands of artists and arts patrons come to Interlochen to experience world-class educational and cultural opportunities. There is one big thing that makes Fringe different from any other event in town: All the shows you'll see at Fringe were selected randomly. Yep. That's right. Each year we select our lineup by placing numbered ping-pong balls into a bingo cage and pulling them out, one by one. From stage veterans to people who are brand new to theater, Minnesota Fringe is a forum for anyone with a story to tell and provides the support to make producing a show as easy as possible.

Ballet Minnesota is a nonprofit, Saint Paul-based professional dance company established in 1988 by Andrew and Cheyl Rist. It functions as the performing company of the Classical Ballet Academy, its official school. Ballet Minnesota's founding vision was to create a dance organization serving the Twin Cities and surrounding areas, dedicated to creating an understanding and enjoyment of the dance arts through performance of the classic repertoire and exploration of new works.

OhioDance is a statewide organization that inclusively supports the diverse and vibrant practice of dance. The goals of OhioDance are to recognize, advocate, and communicate the personal, social, and educational value of dance to all Ohioans, serve as a centralized source of relevant and current information and resources for diverse statewide constituencies, promote standards of excellence and opportunities in the field of dance, and showcase the richness and diversity of dance by facilitating presentation opportunities.
The company approaches movement as a process of investigation, rather than thinking of dance as a vocabulary of actions. While MamLuft&Co. Dance works to make Modern Dance accessible to the general population, ML&Co. also challenges pre-conceived notions of what dance is by searching for authentic, organic, and original movement. MamLuft&Co. Dance’s explorations are led by director Jeanne Sopanha Mam-Luft, whose personal history informs the company processes, as an immigrant and refugee of the Khmer Rouge genocide, as well as an interdisciplinarian of design, architecture, photography, and video.
