At Midwest School of Ballet, our top priority is to teach dance to all our students in a fun, safe, and positive environment. We are passionate about dance, teaching dance, and cannot wait to share our passion with all our students! Whether they are recreational dancers or have a goal to make dance their career path, each dancer is not only a member of our studio, but also a member of our family. We cannot wait to have you join our dance family where we train not only dancers, but help to shape future leaders, young adults, and stars!

A dancer's top priority is academics. All members must be enrolled at UWM and in good academic standings. Participating in dance team activities should not compromise a member's educational goals. The primary mission of the dance team is to support the athletic teams, assist the cheerleading squad in motivating the crowd, entertain the audience at games and other school functions, as well as promote overall school spirit. The dance team also represents the university in dance competitions and exhibitions.

A secondary mission of the team is to foster a sense of community spirit and cooperation through appropriate appearances throughout the Milwaukee community. Part of the dance team's responsibilities will be to perform and/or make appearances at community events. Once the team accepts a community appearance, the function becomes as important as an athletic event and should be treated as such.

Minocqua Dance provides a safe and nurturing environment,where you do not just learn dances...you learn how to dance. We provide a variety of classes for 2 years old and up! We provide educated, experienced, friendly instructors who are fun, cultivate creativity and build confidence, attended school for dance, workshops and/or participated in our Student Teacher/Assistant Mentor Program, want to work in a studio that teaches you how to dance, and encourages you to explore the ART of dance.  We also provide a clean, safe and organized studio that offers full mirrors, barres and two dance studio spaces with sprung vinyl/rubber floors to support and prevent injuries and video feed into classes to watch students in class.

There is one big thing that makes Fringe different from any other event in town: All the shows you'll see at Fringe were selected randomly. Yep. That's right. Each year we select our lineup by placing numbered ping-pong balls into a bingo cage and pulling them out, one by one. From stage veterans to people who are brand new to theater, Minnesota Fringe is a forum for anyone with a story to tell and provides the support to make producing a show as easy as possible.

The mission of the Minnesota Fringe is to promote freedom and diversity of artistic expression by linking adventurous artists with adventurous audiences.

The art of dance can be so many things... A voice, friend, challenger, teacher, pulse, crutch, flying machine, parachute, canvas, diary, compass, a home... It is an art requiring self-discipline, dedication, determination and practice. It is an art requiring passion and love. Move Out Loud was created out of the belief that dance can and should be all of these things. It's our passion to show our students how. At Move Out Loud, we strive to unite mind, body and heart learning in all that we do, providing creative, positive, top notch instruction while helping our students build confidence, self-esteem and a love for the art of movement.

We are very proud of the program we've created. Parents and children, boys and girls, competitive and recreational dancers all look forward to coming to each class because of the fun and positive learning environment, the loving and energetic teachers, and because dancing at Move Out Loud makes them feel strong, confident, powerful, accomplished and proud.
