The Michigan State Dance Team is a part of the Michigan State Athletic Department. This team is made up of dedicated and talented dancers who wish to represent the university in a positive and spirited manner. As a member, they have the opportunity to perform at all home football and men's and women's basketball games, other home athletic events, as well as bowl games, the Big Ten and NCAA tournaments, and various community and alumni functions.
The mission of the Nebraska Arts Council is to promote, cultivate and sustain the arts for the people of Nebraska. In doing so, the Nebraska Arts Council provides grants and services to artists, organizations and communities that: build creative and proactive leadership in the arts, forge partnerships that create and expand opportunities for the arts, cultivate new resources needed to sustain the arts in Nebraska, establish the arts as basic to education and lifelong learning, use the arts as a catalyst for understanding among cultures, and advocate for increased awareness and access to the arts
Natyarpana’s mission is to present the rich cultural heritage of India through performances and workshops of Indian classical dance, music and theater. The Company also aims at providing a venue for Wisconsin residents to explore and experience classical Indian arts as a means to reflect upon their own cultural heritage. As part of its outreach mission, Natyarpana serves communities that do not usually have access to ethnic arts or are unable to afford such programs. Apart from a performing dance company, Natyarpana offers workshops, lecture demonstrations at Universities, schools, colleges and corporate organizations.

In our Academy Program, our students advance through a graded curriculum learning core principles and technique. Our teachers are dedicated to providing every student complete preparation for a professional career. We believe that the discipline, focus, strength, and determination gained from our training will also benefit students in any field they choose.
Our Open Program classes are for those students who would like to take advantage of our high level of training without the commitment of a more rigorous schedule of study. These classes allow students to experience all the benefits of dance training. Open classes do not participate in the annual recital with the exception of Hip Hop. Open program classes include Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Leaps and Turns.

We’ve developed a tradition that includes organized, on-time competitions hosted by a friendly and professional staff. We love what we do and we think it shows. We also consistently award more regional cash and prizes than any other competition system, and no one goes home empty handed, regardless of age or ability.

Cultural Centre of India is renowned for its traditional training for Bharata Natyam Arangetrams & Kuchipudi Ranga Pravesams, participation in numerous performances, BA Degree in Bharata Natyam from Alagappa University in Tamil Nadu, India, and National & Regional Dance Scholarship Competitions.
