The School of Madison Ballet opened its doors in the fall of 2005 and has since welcomed over 1000 dancers into its studios to experience the benefits of comprehensive, classical ballet training. Under the leadership of Artistic Director, W. Earle Smith, SMB focuses on providing students with a unique experience in a professional atmosphere that allows each student to develop to his or her highest possible level of individual achievement. Storybook Ballet, founded in 2000, is a unique and enchanting children’s ballet school that combines beginning classical ballet instruction with the delight of fairytales and famous ballet stories. Founder and Director, Meredith Mast, is a former professional ballerina with the Houston Ballet. Her dream was to create a school that would foster a love of ballet and teach the proper fundamentals of classical ballet technique … all with a touch of magic!
We are a niche ballet school that focuses solely on children and classical ballet, with teachers that specialize in teaching young children and who have in-depth training in classical ballet. The school’s curriculum is based on almost twenty years of teaching children, and over forty years studying the art form. Classes are offered specifically for ages 3-9, with five levels of ballet classes within those ages.
Storybook Ballet is a non-competitive, non-recital focused school that introduces children to the beauty of ballet and plants the seed for a lifelong love and appreciation of the art form.

It is an art requiring self-discipline, dedication, determination and practice. It is an art requiring passion and love. Move Out Loud was created out of the belief that dance can and should be all of these things. It's our passion to show our students how. At Move Out Loud, we strive to unite mind, body and heart learning in all that we do, providing creative, positive, top notch instruction while helping our students build confidence, self-esteem and a love for the art of movement.

The Berkshire Ballet Theatre is Summers Academy of Dance's pre-professional training program for motivated dancers 12-20 years old.
Students learn through technique classes and performances in a creative and disciplined environment. Intermediate 1 and 2 students begin the classical syllabus which requires students to work carefully with much repetition in order to isolate the correct muscle groups required for turn-out, extension, and a strong jump. When a student is ready pointe training begins. Character dance, modern dance and floor barre are also introduced into training. Berkshire Ballet Theatre trainees, apprentices, and company dancers continue advanced classical ballet training including classical variations, pas de deux, repetoire.
The doors of the Summers Academy of Dance opened in 1996 on Berkshire Drive in Crystal Lake. Since that first day dancers from 18 months old to adults; beginners to professionals have come through our doors to train with our outstanding faculty and experience the joy of dancing.
Our Mission: To assist students in developing scholastic aptitude and excel in life by providing excellent education through various forms of dance and performing arts.
At the Summers Academy of Dance you can find classes for the child, teen, or adult recreational dancer who enjoys dancing once or twice a week for the creative, fun, and physical outlet. The School of Theatre and Dance at Northern Illinois University provides intensive artistic and academic training for students preparing for careers in theatre and theatre-related areas. The course of study is rigorous and realistic, designed to develop, challenge and broaden the skills and attitudes of all theatre students, but especially the highly motivated student who takes responsibility for his or her own growth.
Our principles are simple. Students perform publicly all four years of the program. Our students have a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence, but also the ability to work as an ensemble and treat other artists with respect – this is not only fostered but required. We emphasize in collaboration and NOT Competition!

Welcome to Windy City Wedding Dance. We are a dance studio that specializes in ballroom dance, social dance styles, and wedding dance. We offer group dance classes and private dance lessons. We are located in downtown Chicago at 410 S Michigan Avenue across the street from Grant Park in the Fine Arts Building. We offer dance lessons 7 days a week for beginner level to advanced level.
We offer classes in ballet, jazz, contemporary, and hip hop for children ages 3-18 as well as adult yoga and pilates. We pride ourselves in producing well-trained, technical dancers.
