The mission of Classical Ballet Academy of Minnesota is to create a professional school dedicated to the pursuit of artistry in dance through the quality education of the Performing Arts Dancer. The Performing Arts program stresses technical as well as performance development through graded classroom progression and performances. Classical Ballet Academy is the official school of Ballet Minnesota. Students perform in Ballet Minnesota productions including The Fall Concert, The Classic Nutcracker, The Minnesota Dance Festival and Summer Series River Songs.
The Cecchetti Council of America is an organization dedicated to maintaining the standards and method of ballet training established by Cav. Enrico Cecchetti. The organization uses his teaching and writings in a sequence of grades, carefully measured as to degree of difficulty and physical development, and provides a system of accredited examinations to test the student’s proficiency within those grades.
The CCA incorporated as a nonprofit educational association in 1951 and was the first organization in the United States to adapt a uniform system of teaching and examinations. Since that time, it has developed outstanding teachers as well as students who have danced professionally in ballet companies across the world.
The principal objective of the Cecchetti Council of America has always been to raise the quality of ballet teaching. This requires consistent attitudes of self-improvement and professional integrity on the part of each member teacher. The Council provides continuing educational opportunities through publications, refresher courses, and ballet conferences.
Chicago Ballet Arts' mission is to provide a structured, affordable ballet program with high professional standards for Chicago's diverse north and northwest communities. In the process, we strive to instill in our students a love of dance, a respect for the classical disciplines necessary in a performing art, and an expanded capacity for excellence.
Through our family concerts and open studio policy, we hope to encourage parental and community involvement in the efforts of our students, so that their success can be viewed as part of the permanent fabric of family and community life, and can stand as an open example of the relationship between rigor and achievement.
Li Chiao-Ping Dance creates and presents concerts of contemporary postmodern dance, featuring highly physical, elegant and inventive works. LCPD was founded in 1990 and had its first concert in Madison in 1995. It is a resident company of the Overture Center for the Arts and works hard to spread the benefits of dance.
Reflecting and supporting the artistic vision of choreographer Li Chiao-Ping, Li Chiao-Ping Dance produces and presents original performance works, provides mentorship, education and training, offers opportunities for residencies and collaborations, and promotes tolerance and respect.
The OAC is a state agency that funds and supports quality arts experiences to strengthen Ohio communities culturally, educationally, and economically.

The North Dakota Council on the Arts (NDCA) is a service and program agency of the state, established in 1967 by the State Legislature to develop the arts and to promote and support the arts in North Dakota. Grant funds are made available by the National Endowment for the Arts and appropriations from the state of North Dakota. It is the mission of the North Dakota Council on the Arts to promote, preserve and perpetuate the arts in North Dakota.
Central Midwest Ballet offers our community excellence in dance performance and training. We assist our students to achieve their highest potential in technique while developing self-esteem, positive self-image, and lifelong health habits.
Our curriculum and faculty provide our students instruction both in the foundational skills of classical ballet and in a variety of dance forms to help them appreciate the cultural and ethnic diversity of expression in dance. MDC has served Chicago’s communities for over 20 years under the leadership of Founder and Artistic Director Homer Hans Bryant. He founded the Bryant Ballet School and Company in 1990 to create a neoclassical ballet technique which integrates a diversity of dance styles and honors the richness of our varied multicultural heritage. The name of the school was officially changed to Chicago Multi-Cultural Dance Center in 1997. In 2008 he merged ballet and street dance to create Hiplet™, a new technique featuring hip hop dance in pointe shoes.
Center Stage Dance Academy (CSDA) is a professional dance academy located just 20 miles north of the Madison metro area. CSDA offers ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, modern and ballroom dance for ages ranging from 3 years to adult.
