The mission of our studio is to offer movement opportunities for all ages in a positive environment, as well as instilling a passion for the art of dance and movement. Above all, we (as a faculty) are fully aware of our dramatic impact on the development of each dancer’s self-esteem and personal growth, and responsibility to present ourselves as positive and effective role models for our school.
The arts are so important in our society. We at Dancenter North are thankful that we are able to pass on the knowledge and the traditions to the next generations. We are the lucky ones, for the creation of beauty through the arts is the ultimate in human satisfaction.
Whether a student is interested in studying recreationally or aims to pursue a career in the field of dance, one can be assured that our methods of study and our professional staff of instructors in such an inspirational atmosphere will allow a student to learn and develop in a most correct manner.
Footworks offers something for everyone, from your first pre school class, to your graduation performance and beyond. With our award winning staff and new 9000+ square foot facility, Footworks is excited to offer 2 great programs to choose from (FDC Enrichment Dance and FDC Competitive Dance) in the Appleton, Heart of the Valley and Northeast Wisconsin area. Coming from a long family tradition of dance, we have been providing exceptional and comprehensive dance training to dancers of all ages and skill levels for over 13 years. We have grown tremendously over these years to become an extremely respected dance program in Wisconsin with a National Award Winning studio. Footworks offers something for everyone, with classes in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Acrobatics, Pointe, Lyrical, Hip Hop and Modern Dance. Our goal is to go above and beyond your dance class expectations, while building self esteem, confidence and character. Our teachers instruct with with love and encouragement, while building character and promoting a lifetime love for the arts. Check out our programs below in Hip Hop Company, Co. Gus Giordano Founded Gus Giordano Dance in 1953. Gus’ Jazz Dance legacy continues in his Chicago School at 5230 N Clark St. Train in all styles – Giordano Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Modern, Hip Hop, Contemporary. Gus Giordano Professional & Youth GUS Dancers perform throughout Chicagoland. Gus’ legacy continues under the direction of his daughter, Amy Giordano.
MamLuft&Co. Dance’s dance classes for adults, teens, and kids are about more than learning movement and healthy, active practices: they’re also about problem solving, etiquette, physical awareness, and confidence. We promote gender-inclusive and age-appropriate dance. We focus on growing character without participating in costly dance competitions. We are community-based.
McDonald Dance Academy offers classes in ballet, jazz, hip hop, musical theater, modern and tap, plus special classes, including Yoga and Pilates. Because a dancer needs a strong foundation, Linda McDonald and her staff, all of whom have degrees in dance or have danced professionally, stress proficient use of dance terminology and an understanding of theory, as well as encouraging participation in workshops and public performances. As a result, many McDonald Dance Academy students have won scholarships from Chicago National Association of Dance Masters, and performed in both Joffrey Ballet and Schaumburg’s productions of the “Nutcracker.”
Believing it is important for students to be exposed to many different styles of teaching, Linda McDonald invites many guest teachers and choreographers from several prestigious companies in the Chicago area.
