Our studio offers classes in ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary,pre dance and stretch and technique. Classes available for ages 2-18. Our instructors are young and fun, with lots of experience in many different styles! MEDC is Amelia’s premier dance studio where kids and teens experience dance in an outrageously fun and non-competitive atmosphere. Midwest Elite Dance Center offers group classes and private lessons in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, gymnastics, and leaps/turns. Classes are offered to children ages 2-18 from beginner to advanced. Each child is placed into a class based upon age, ability, and previous training
At Midwest School of Ballet, our top priority is to teach dance to all our students in a fun, safe, and positive environment. The art of dance can be so many things… A voice, friend, challenger, teacher, pulse, crutch, flying machine, parachute, canvas, diary, compass, a home… It is an art requiring self-discipline, dedication, determination and practice. It is an art requiring passion and love. Move Out Loud was created out of the belief that dance can and should be all of these things. It’s our passion to show our students how. At Move Out Loud, we strive to unite mind, body and heart learning in all that we do, providing creative, positive, top notch instruction while helping our students build confidence, self-esteem and a love for the art of movement.
We are very proud of the program we’ve created. Founded in 1989 and under the artistic leadership of Frank Chaves, RNDC demonstrates depth and sophistication with a commitment to creating an accessible, enriching experience for audiences. The company continues to make a name for themselves on the world stage traveling throughout the country and internationally. Core works by Chaves are augmented with an array of pieces by renowned choreographers including Mauro Astolfi, Adam Barruch, Robert Battle, Sidra Bell, Ashley Roland and Nejla Yatkin, among others.
Salt Creek Ballet trains dancers. From the tiniest youngster in our “fairy tale ballet” class, through the pre-professional level and beyond to our teen/adult classes, we offer excellent dance instruction to all our students. Believing that a classical ballet foundation is the basis of any of today’s dance styles, Salt Creek Ballet strives to nurture children and adults alike in the beauty, discipline and art of dance.

Same Planet Different World Dance Theatre is a contemporary-based repertory company that presents the work of its Artistic Director and other choreographers, both established and emerging. The Company strives to present choreography that can support a humanistic voice while remaining in the physical world where dance is the primary ingredient; using the full moving body for expression. The Company maintains an ever-evolving body of work that is driven by theatricality, athleticism, tenacity and accessibility for its audience.
Same Planet Different World Dance Theatre (SPDW), led by artistic director Joanna Rosenthal, is a Chicago-based contemporary dance ensemble that has built a strong reputation for work that is evocative, entertaining and engaging. SPDW has received critical acclaim for its varied repertory and powerful performers. SPDW presents the choreography of artists from across the country, both seasoned veterans as well as up-and-coming innovators, with styles that range from classical to post-modern dance. The diverse spectrum of work can range from humorous satire to high-octane virtuosity, but never ceases to delight audiences with performances that are dynamic and inspiring. Contributing artists include Peter Carpenter, Faye Driscoll, Jan Erkert, Carl Flink, Ashleigh Leite, Molly Shanahan, Jeff Hancock, Shirley Mordine, Sam Watson, Shapiro and Smith Dance and to name a few.
