Midwest Performing Arts provides a professional and encouraging environment in which our students can learn the art of dance while also learning skills needed for a successful life. We believe that introducing and enriching lives in dance is a wonderful gift that will last forever.
Our progressive program offers training in dance technique grounded in Ballet, Modern and Jazz Dance, while also including Tap and Hip Hop styles of dance. It is important as a dancer to have a well rounded education in many different forms of dance. Our schedule and curriculum allow each and every student to learn in many genres.
A Leap Above Dance studio teaches ages 3 to adult the art of dance in a fun and friendly atmosphere! We offer classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, creative movement, and pointe, in one of our three spacious studios.
A Step Above Dance & Music Academy provides its students with self-confidence and feelings of accomplishment through excellent training in all areas of dance and music. Director Tamra Bisbee McKittrick teaches with a faculty of highly-trained and caring teachers who are looking forward to helping you and your child develop a lifelong respect and appreciation for the performing arts. Rebecca McCarthy School of Dance (RMSD) is a nationally renowned performing arts school featured on WGN and ABC. We are home to the award-winning McDance Company and provide recreational and professional dance training to children beginning at 20 months through adult. The Rebecca McCarthy School of Dance was established in 2003. We strive to create a learning environment that provides both recreational and professional training. Our goal is to train our dancers in a structured and fun atmosphere. Dancers that study under RMSD are provided with the background they will need to succeed in the performing arts. RMSD students gain the confidence needed to succeed in dance, musical theater, poms, cheerleading and other stage productions. We welcome you to become a part of our dance family, RMSD, a place that we are proud to call home!
We are Northeast Wisconsin’s premier dance studio providing the most comprehensive dance education available. We’ve been providing positive dance and life experiences for over 25 years. Our goal is to provide the best dance education possible while helping our students develop a love and true appreciation for dance. We help our students set higher goals while developing character, integrity, and self-esteem. Most of all, we will give them love, praise, and encouragement. Our recreational and competitive dance programs offer each student the level of training they desire and aspire to achieve. Encouragement, Motivation and Creativity are the basis for our dance classes. We offer a complete recreational program with all students performing in our fabulous year-end “Spring Celebration of Dance” held every year at the finest theatres in the Green Bay and Fox Valley area. We welcome students of all abilities from ages two and up.
Footworks offers something for everyone, from your first pre school class, to your graduation performance and beyond. With our award winning staff and new 9000+ square foot facility, Footworks is excited to offer 2 great programs to choose from (FDC Enrichment Dance and FDC Competitive Dance) in the Appleton, Heart of the Valley and Northeast Wisconsin area. Coming from a long family tradition of dance, we have been providing exceptional and comprehensive dance training to dancers of all ages and skill levels for over 13 years. We have grown tremendously over these years to become an extremely respected dance program in Wisconsin with a National Award Winning studio. Footworks offers something for everyone, with classes in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Acrobatics, Pointe, Lyrical, Hip Hop and Modern Dance. Our goal is to go above and beyond your dance class expectations, while building self esteem, confidence and character.
