A Leap Above Dance studio teaches ages 3 to adult the art of dance in a fun and friendly atmosphere! We offer classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, creative movement, and pointe, in one of our three spacious studios.
A Step Above Dance & Music Academy provides its students with self-confidence and feelings of accomplishment through excellent training in all areas of dance and music. Director Tamra Bisbee McKittrick teaches with a faculty of highly-trained and caring teachers who are looking forward to helping you and your child develop a lifelong respect and appreciation for the performing arts. The doors of the Summers Academy of Dance opened in 1996 on Berkshire Drive in Crystal Lake. Since that first day dancers from 18 months old to adults; beginners to professionals have come through our doors to train with our outstanding faculty and experience the joy of dancing.
Our Mission: To assist students in developing scholastic aptitude and excel in life by providing excellent education through various forms of dance and performing arts.
At the Summers Academy of Dance you can find classes for the child, teen, or adult recreational dancer who enjoys dancing once or twice a week for the creative, fun, and physical outlet. The art of dance can be so many things… A voice, friend, challenger, teacher, pulse, crutch, flying machine, parachute, canvas, diary, compass, a home… It is an art requiring self-discipline, dedication, determination and practice. It is an art requiring passion and love. Move Out Loud was created out of the belief that dance can and should be all of these things. It’s our passion to show our students how. At Move Out Loud, we strive to unite mind, body and heart learning in all that we do, providing creative, positive, top notch instruction while helping our students build confidence, self-esteem and a love for the art of movement.
We are very proud of the program we’ve created. Parents and children, boys and girls, competitive and recreational dancers all look forward to coming to each class because of the fun and positive learning environment, the loving and energetic teachers, and because dancing at Move Out Loud makes them feel strong, confident, powerful, accomplished and proud.
Gus Giordano Founded Gus Giordano Dance in 1953. Gus’ Jazz Dance legacy continues in his Chicago School at 5230 N Clark St. Train in all styles – Giordano Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Modern, Hip Hop, Contemporary. Gus Giordano Professional & Youth GUS Dancers perform throughout Chicagoland. Gus’ legacy continues under the direction of his daughter, Amy Giordano.
MEDC is Amelia’s premier dance studio where kids and teens experience dance in an outrageously fun and non-competitive atmosphere. Directed by original Hubbard Street dancer Claire Bataille and led by a faculty of experienced performers, choreographers, and musicians, the Lou Conte Dance Studio (LCDS) at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago offers weekly classes of all levels in ballet, jazz, modern, tap, hip hop, African, African drums, musical theater, yoga, Pilates, and Zumba, as well as workshops and master classes.
Performing Dance Academy is committed to its students; we focus on the accomplishments and experiences of EACH dancer! We work hard to introduce and instill self-expression, confidence, discipline and passion in each student. Welcome to Synergy Dance Academy of Madison, Wisconsin! We opened our doors in the summer of 2012 at 549 Zor Shrine Place. Synergy Dance Academy has quickly established itself as the place to go for topnotch training in all areas of dance. Our award winning teams compete locally as well as regionally. They learn unique choreography with our instructors and from visiting choreographers from LA to New York and everywhere in between.
Our incredibly talented staff of dance teachers were instrumental in developing the vision for the studio and the Synergy Dance Teams. What has developed are incredible opportunities for both the dancers and the teachers!
We offer classes for ages 3-18 in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary and lyrical as well as “Mini Mover” classes for the tiniest of dancers! Our “Chance to Dance” program is specially designed for dancers with developmental differences. It provides these dancers an opportunity to explore and express themselves through music and movement.
