Founded in 2012, Ballet 5:8 a 501-(c)-3 nonprofit arts organization. With a growing roster of professional dancers and a repertoire of all-new classical and contemporary works, Ballet 5:8 performs in a variety of settings across Chicago and the U.S. in addition to teaching workshops and master classes. Ballet 5:8’s performances combine the athleticism and beauty of professional dance with a commitment to practical communication and understandability. This brings performances out of the abstract, elitism of some art forms and into the hearts and minds of everyday people.

Ballet Chicago is an internationally recognized professional track school of ballet that creates exceptional dancers and people. Ballet Chicago believes every aspiring artist deserves the opportunity to explore his or her full potential, and strives to make classical ballet training accessible to all talented students who have the desire to dance. Ballet Chicago is dedicated to rigorous technical training in a culture that fosters personal growth and by teaching impeccable technique as well as fundamental life skills, their students go on to find success in dance and life.
Ballet Minnesota is a nonprofit, Saint Paul-based professional dance company established in 1988 by Andrew and Cheyl Rist. It functions as the performing company of the Classical Ballet Academy, its official school. Ballet Minnesota's founding vision was to create a dance organization serving the Twin Cities and surrounding areas, dedicated to creating an understanding and enjoyment of the dance arts through performance of the classic repertoire and exploration of new works.
Ballet Quad Cities is one of our Midwest region’s premiere arts organizations. Launched as a professional dance company in 1996 by Founding Executive Director Joedy Cook, Ballet Quad Cities has garnered critical praise for its stunning performances. Ballet Quad Cities is the longest-running resident professional ballet company in the entire state of Iowa and western Illinois, one of only 100 in the nation. Our award winning performances and interactive school and community programs are accessible for everyone. Each year we touch over 25,000 people with the amazing, athletic and entertaining art of dance.
Ballet U, LLC provides a unique holistic and anatomical approach to classical ballet training that elevates ordinary technique to extraordinary levels of personal understanding for dance students and elite athletes regardless of their age, background or ultimate goals. Empowering ALL motivated students--children through adults, beginners through professionals--this methodology develops a visceral understanding of body mechanics and promotes maximum proficiency, safety and longevity. Whether participating in a group class or private coaching sessions, individually tailored technique ensures optimal health and achievement proportionate to personal commitment.
We are Northeast Wisconsin’s premier dance studio providing the most comprehensive dance education available. We’ve been providing positive dance and life experiences for over 25 years. Our goal is to provide the best dance education possible while helping our students develop a love and true appreciation for dance. We help our students set higher goals while developing character, integrity, and self-esteem. Most of all, we will give them love, praise, and encouragement. Our recreational and competitive dance programs offer each student the level of training they desire and aspire to achieve. Encouragement, Motivation and Creativity are the basis for our dance classes. We offer a complete recreational program with all students performing in our fabulous year-end “Spring Celebration of Dance” held every year at the finest theatres in the Green Bay and Fox Valley area. We welcome students of all abilities from ages two and up.

Bellydancing UW was founded in the Spring of 2000 by Kerridwen Mangala and Leena in order to practice the choreographies and technique of their instructor, Mona N'wal. They were soon joined by Radhika, Amy, Yayuk, Courtney, Sabrina, and many other members, who helped create the organization as it stands today.
Bellydancing UW provides instruction for beginning, intermediate, and advanced dancers. Each semester, our organization welcomes 50-70 regular attendees in the beginners' class, where an experienced club member covers basic technique, which is synthesized into a choreography. Intermediate classes build on this foundation with a greater focus on complete dance pieces, many of which are performed by the club at events on campus and around Madison, including Helen C. House Party, Homecoming, and All Campus Party.
