Boys Dance
The mission of Classical Ballet Academy of Minnesota is to create a professional school dedicated to the pursuit of artistry in dance through the quality education of the Performing Arts Dancer. The Performing Arts program stresses technical as well as performance development through graded classroom progression and performances. Classical Ballet Academy is the official school of Ballet Minnesota. Students perform in Ballet Minnesota productions including The Fall Concert, The Classic Nutcracker, The Minnesota Dance Festival and Summer Series River Songs.
Central Midwest Ballet offers our community excellence in dance performance and training. We assist our students to achieve their highest potential in technique while developing self-esteem, positive self-image, and lifelong health habits.
Our curriculum and faculty provide our students instruction both in the foundational skills of classical ballet and in a variety of dance forms to help them appreciate the cultural and ethnic diversity of expression in dance. Our scholarship opportunities make our programs widely accessible to students from all economic backgrounds.

“Dance” is the most physically and mentally demanding subject within the Performing Arts. Our professional staff, through their knowledge and love for dance, hope to inspire in our students not only dance technique and style but the determination, dedication, and self discipline that is needed to acquire the rewards in the dance education. It is our feeling that when our students have left the studio, whether it is to pursue a career in dance or not, that he or she has developed a stronger character through self confidence, awareness of themselves physically and mentally a greater sense of responsibility, and a better appreciation of the arts.
Dance Studio 3-D doesn’t create dancers, it reveals them. Stretch by stretch, leap by leap, the dancer emerges. The art form of dance can be the catalyst to setting your inner dancer free.
Studio 3-D’s objective in teaching is not only to impart the correct techniques in the art of dance, but also to have the students experience the enjoyment of learning with a feeling of self-satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment. Although some students may go on to seek a career in dance, Studio 3-D is less interested in molding professional dancers than in shaping disciplined, respectful, gracious and dedicated young people who also develop a love and appreciation for the art.
Studio 3-D is recognized for a positive educational environment, an active role in the community, and a contribution to the exposure to the arts for students and their families. The Studio also sponsors 3-D Family Theatre, to foster the inner performer in all.
Ballet Chicago is an internationally recognized professional track school of ballet that creates exceptional dancers and people. Ballet Chicago believes every aspiring artist deserves the opportunity to explore his or her full potential, and strives to make classical ballet training accessible to all talented students who have the desire to dance. Ballet Chicago is dedicated to rigorous technical training in a culture that fosters personal growth and by teaching impeccable technique as well as fundamental life skills, their students go on to find success in dance and life.
Ballet 5:8 School of the Arts is the dance education arm of Ballet 5:8, a 501-(c)-3 nonprofit organization and professional performance company dedicated to creating and performing honest, relevant, breathtaking dance.
The school’s mission to make high quality dance training accessible to students of all ages, backgrounds and levels of ability, in an environment that nurtures students and allows them to thrive. Whether students take classes for a few years or many, study for fun, or train to pursue professional careers, it is our goal to be a positive influence in students’ lives that can help prepare them for whatever lies ahead.
Brookfield Center for the Arts, formerly Brookfield Dance Academy, has been a part of the community for 12 years. We are thrilled to share our love for the arts in the areas of dance, music, theatre and education. From the early stages of creative movement to the time when a young body is ready to take on new challenges, the Auer Academy of Fort Wayne Ballet training provides a unique set of disciplines and outcomes. Peoria Ballet is a non-profit company celebrating fifty years of providing the finest in dance performance and dance education to Central Illinois. Well known for its annual production of The Nutcracker, the performance features live orchestral music, professional guest artists dancing the roles of Sugar Plum Fairy and Cavalier, and more than 100 of the Academy’s own dancers. Each season also features a full-length theater production in the spring. The Peoria Ballet also collaborates with other arts and non-profit organizations in an effort to ensure the art of dance continues to be strong and vibrant in the community.
