The Joffrey Academy of Dance, Official School of The Joffrey Ballet, is committed to providing students of all ages, levels and backgrounds who have a desire to dance with a world-class education built on a foundation of classical ballet. With the talents cultivated at the Joffrey Academy, students can pursue careers as professional dancers at companies throughout the world, higher education opportunities in dance, or success in other fields. Through the Joffrey Academy’s programs, students develop a diverse set of skills including artistry, creativity, discipline and confidence, among others. Our true goal is to offer a wonderful, professional dance experience to all! Madison Dance Academy offers dance instruction for students age 3 through adult. Our classes in ballet, jazz, hip-hop and tap are professional and fun. Our dance teams have received high rankings in several competition events. At our studio, students learn the art of dance in an encouraging atmosphere that promotes age appropriate teamwork, competition and self-discipline.
Monona Academy of Dance is dedicated to creating an atmosphere which fosters self-esteem, discipline, and positive influences, all of which can be carried into many other aspects of the student’s life.
North Shore School of Dance (NSSD) is a professional school with 5 studios in one location. We offer graded classes in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, modern and hip-hop. We also offer open classes in Adult Ballet and Modern, Bollywood, and Boys Hip Hop. NSSD boasts a highly qualified professional faculty, along with guest artists from major well-respected dance companies. These faculty members make it possible for the school to offer an extensive program from pre-school to professional.

We have continued the tradition of the finest professional dance education in the community for over 40 years.
Founded in 1985, Northwest Ballet Academy Ltd. provides quality ballet training for children, teens and adults throughout the northwestern suburbs of Chicago. Along with ballet, we offer jazz, modern, character and Pilates training. We have a passion for all genres of dance, but it is our belief that ballet is the foundation of all other forms. That is why we teach proper ballet technique, coupled with a disciplined approach that includes personal correction; live, piano accompaniment; and instruction in ballet vocabulary, history and variations from the classical repertoire.
Since 1981 the school of Rockford Dance Company has been dedicated to providing the best possible dance education in a professional, friendly, and caring atmosphere.
Classes are offered year round for ages 3 to senior citizens. A variety of dance forms are offered for all levels of experience as well as dance related exercise classes. Our state of the art facility houses 5 studios with two way windows for parent observations. Our studios are located at the Rockford Park District’s Riverfront Museum Park on the 2nd floor.
Teaching dancers the fundamentals and technique of dance in a fun, caring environment. We offer a wide variety of classes to meet all dancers interests for students ages 3 – adult at a modern dance studio. For the more serious dancer, we offer a highly accomplished competition program. At Spotlight Dance Academy, we teach more than dance but lessons for life. Your dancer will build character, confidence and poise while taking dance classes combined with excellent dance technique. Our highly experienced and passionate dance instructors provide educational and exciting classes.
Studio One prides itself on offering the opportunity for all to dance. Our ultimate goal is for students to develop grace, self-confidence, and creative well-being while encompassing a love for dance.
The Academy hopes that all students, including those who are gifted, as well as those who have challenges, will feel at home here and find stimulation and inspiration. Since movement and music are universal languages, peoples of all races, cultures and nationalities are welcome. Our faculty is justifiably proud of the successes of the talented and persevering few, but also rejoices in the progress made by each student. It is our purpose to make everyone’s time here meaningful and beneficial.
